These images were taken discreetly during a commercial documentary I was working on for a mining company in the north of Canada. When I first arrived in the city, the two chimneys of the smelter became my geographical reference. Wherever I went, I could see the overwhelming chimneys. I was invited to visit the inside of the factory where I took a series of photos exploring the working condition of a daily worker in the world’s largest processor of electronic scrap containing copper and precious metals.
